Description

The EHS Manager will cross-train on the EHS function and will be trained by the current EHS Manager.

Responsibilities
Environmental Compliance

• Maintain Title V Air Permit


• Maintain Wastewater Permit


• Maintain Stormwater Permit


• Maintain and support ISO14001 activities


• Lead permitting/reporting/communication processes with the local, state, and federal agencies


• Compile and submit all environmental reports on time with accuracy


• Integrate EHS standards to new and existing equipment and processes


• Provide detailed EHS reports to management team


• Author and manage SDS’s for all plant materials


• Inspect and audit to identify EHS risk reduction opportunities


• Lead EHS continuous improvement

Safety Compliance

• Lead OSHA programs


• Lead the safety program


• Monitor compliance of safety programs


• Coordinate near miss / accident investigations and facilitate corrective actions/preventative measures


• Facilitate monthly safety topic training and assist with team meetings


• Lead safety continuous improvement projects


• Support all equipment start-ups and process safety benchmarking


• Maintain and update EHS related documents in the plant document control system


• Manage hazardous waste program


• Support facility related operations

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an EHS-related field


• 1+ year experience in EHS capacity preferred


• 1+ year experience in manufacturing setting preferred
